Who is this guy?
Let me start off by saying that no one is more surprised that I’m out here in South Africa than me. Where do start? I was 25 before I went on my first mission trip and I had never before left the state of Florida other than quick little visits to places. I always wanted to go to Africa even before being a Christian, which is interesting, but I never really saw a place for me as a missionary. I was actually fine with the lifestyle of living in remote places, but never saw how I fit. I always thought you needed to some kind of preacher to be a missionary. Well, that’s a lie from the devil himself. God has been using my creative talents for over 2 years now to grow His kingdom here in South Africa
During the day
I’m the creative director at Thrive Africa where I’m always working on things like brochures, flyers, newsletters, school curriculums, web development ideas, and just about anything else that would have our logo on it. I’m also the resident “tech guy” handling any kind of computer problems people might have as well as trying my best to keep our network stable with the never ending power dips.
When the sun goes down
Sometimes I’m still in the office at this point, but when I do get to leave I really just like to relax at my house. I know it sounds boring, especially since I live in this beautiful country, but what rejuvenates me is watching a little tv and reading blogs to keep up with new technology. Hopefully that doesn’t make me sound too lazy.
