My home church arrives
It’s been a great week for me! My home church from Jacksonville, FL has been out here a little over a week doing evangalizm and children’s minstry in the village of Qwa Qwa. It’s so exciting to see people from my church with such a heart for the people of Africa that they would brave the 18 hour flight, rainy weather, and freezing weather conditions to be here (it’s supposed to get down to 16 degrees tonight!).
As an added bonus two of my best friends Tom and Kevin are also on this trip. It’s not only been great to hang out with them, but also that they finally get a glimpse of my life out here. I’d be interested to hear what they think.
The team is only here for another couple days then they are off to safari and then back home. It is my prayer that each of them know they’ve made an eternal impact in the last two weeks. I don’t think it matters if 10 people were saved this week or just 1. People are hearing about Jesus Christ and that is pretty awesome in my book.

Hi Dave. I love your website. I tried to take the virtual tour of your new home. But, I couldn’t get any of the photos to do that - I hope it’s NOT this computer!!! I came to your site, via Alece’s blog. She wrote about you challenging her to come up higher in sharing personal things on the website, letters, and brochures. Thank you so much for your love, passion, and vision to “prod” her to come up higher. God bless you. With love, Diane

P.S. Sorry, I forgot to comment on your post. I can imagine how uplifting it was for you to spend time with your friends and church and for them to share in your life. It was a gift from your Father!
