Myth #57 - It’s always hot in South Africa
Tonight is probably going to be one of the books. The weather report is saying it’s going to get down to around -2 degrees with the wind chill factor. And let me tell you what. As I sit here in my living room with sweat pants, a sweatshirt, a wool cap on, and my little heater about 2 feet away I don’t think they’re lying. Unfortunately, I don’t have central heating in my house so it’s probably around 40 degrees right now and that number is only going to go down as the night goes on.
Just to give you a little peak into the reality of climate of my house right now. A 2 liter bottle of Coke that is sitting in my house is now frozen. Yep, my refrigerator has dropped in temperature because it’s so cold in my house. Oh boy! It’s going to be a long cold night.
