Backdraft

Last weekend one of the buildings on the property caught fire. Somehow sparks from the fireplace made it all the way up and out of the chimney and caught the thatch roof in fire. It took all of us staff, a visiting mission team, and other nearby farmers about 3 hours to finally put it out. We were very fortunate that that only part of the roof was destroyed and not the whole building. Unfortunately though, the part of the roof that was destroyed is pretty much what keeps the roof structurally sound, so it still might turn out that we’ll need to rebuild the entire place.
Please pray…
- That we will have favor with the insurance company
- That we will be strengthened through this
- That we will trust God to turn these ashes into something better than we could image.
