It’s downright scary sometimes the stats that come out of South Africa. This one caught my eye a couple weeks ago and I still can’t quite believe it.

How can this be happening? How does a country get to this point? Well, I don’t really have the answers to those question, but I take comfort in the fact that we (Thrive Africa) are in the public schools every week teaching and training these kids to try and put an end to these type of statistics. Currently our Leadership Summit program is in 9 different schools teaching about 1,700 kids a week. Teaching them on all types of topics based on Godly principals… topics like: sex, dating, lust, purpose, destiny, friends, etc. With the AIDS pandemic destroying kids’ lives everyday there is a sense of urgency that now is the time, tomorrow is too late. The longer it takes us to get in the 600+ schools in the village of Qwa-Qwa and teach these truths to these kids the longer it will be before these horrible statics get reversed.

We’ve been blessed with such favor from the government that we can pretty much teach straight from the bible. Please pray God’s favor stays on us.
