I recently droped off my support letters at the Post Office and let me tell you writing those letters was a lot harder than I thought. As I mentioned in my letter this whole “asking for money thing” isn’t something I wanted to do from the beginning, but I’ve come to realize that God is teaching me so much months before I get on a plane bound for Africa. Trust me, I would have rather done everything I could to pay for the entire trip myself and not bother asking my friends and family for support, but God has shown me that’s not really what it’s about. Now I can share my beliefs with family and friends, let others use the gifts God has given them through prayer and financial support, and most important simply allows me to faithful and trusting that God will provide.
